Stuck In Between

 

Lately I’ve been feeling kind of down

Counting the days left of us

It might still be far but I see it near

I’ve been feeling that I’m losing you

But at the same time I’m telling you

You’ll always be deep inside my heart

 

I know we've had our times together

And it hurts me as much as it's hurting you

But I have to change

 

It’s never goodbye to you

The kid inside of me

I’m only changing my directions

To the person who I’m gonna be

But it's hard for me to take these actions

Cause you're kind of not letting me

And I cannot move forward

Cause I’m stuck in between this kid and the future of me

 

It’s kind of hard to let you go

And much harder to welcome this new soul who I’m gonna be

Into this road the new beginning of the end of us

I’ve been trying to tell you this a thousand times

But it's like you do not care about what I have to say

It’s a feeling that everyone must go through this life

 

I know we've never expected this

And it hurts me as much as it's hurting you

This is a well written piece that could help a lot of people clarify there time of transition. This is a great write and it shows well the dilemma of deciding with wisdom the best timing to move forward. A difficult time of life with important decisions. Good write.
