Giving Up

This poem has so many levels... It is about wars, relationships, tragedies in life and so many different things but it has one message " NEVER GIVE UP" I mean if you give up on anything, it would lead to anger inside and sadness...

 

Giving Up

 

The eyes in tears and the heart in pain

You try your best to defend the best part of you

Sometimes you feel you've had enough

And words just start to say the truth

Sometimes they hurt but you don't mean to hurt

So you feel bad and just turn away

 

Giving up is not the solution

Giving up is not for us

We just have to try our bests

To fit together in every kind of way

Cause I know we're stronger than giving up

 

The soul drown with guilt and the mind with thoughts

You try your best not to disappoint the best part of you

Sometimes you do without realizing until it's too late

And regrets just start to make you see that you were wrong

Sometimes it just comes out wrong but you don't mean to hurt

So you feel bad and just turn away

Very good message. I like this encouraging write. It shows a balance between being able to confess where we have blown in and "giving up". It is great write because it is not about denial its about being balanced and real with our mistakes. Very good my friend.
