What I Want The Most

One moment, just hear me out

Before you turn away and leave me

I have sinned, who hasn't?

But I’m willing to change the mistakes

I lied to you, lied to myself

I confess I was a liar

But not anymore cause I’ve realized

What you really are to me

 

I cannot find the words to describe the feeling

Of you not being the other half of my life

Half of my heart

I cannot find the language to describe the shame

Of breaking what was so pure, so innocent

I’m not so sure what I want the most             

Your forgiveness or your love

 

Do I deserve your life and soul?

A question I cannot answer yet

But do you deserve my life and soul?

Oh you deserve way more than that

But I will try to give out my best

To treat you right the best way I can

But will you give me the chance to try

Or have I lost you forever?
