Distant Verses: Whispers of Stars and Sea

On a foreign shore,

stars hang low,

like scattered silver on night's veil.

Waves hum softly,

a distant lullaby of the sea,

gentle yet far away.

I stand on this unfamiliar ground,

sand soft beneath my feet,

heart heavy with longing.

The wind, carrying the salt of the ocean,

scatters the smoke of home,

yet cannot erase the warmth of memory.

A lighthouse in the distance,

flickers alone,

like a heart that never fades,

guiding lost ships,

and guiding me,

toward an unknown path home.

Stars and sea,

meet at the edge of night,

as if whispering:

"The distance is both the beginning and the end."

And I,

in this silence,

hear my own heartbeat,

resonating with the universe.
