Ch. 14A Chapter by Ashley
Elise was sitting in this room. Ever since that happened, she hasn’t been able to take care of herself. She dropped out of college. She couldn’t find anyone she knew. Everything she had was lost, and gone.
She stared intently on the dalmation on the wall. She hated being in this place. It was for mentally sick people. And she wasn’t mentally ill. She kept counting the spots on the dog, and tried avoiding the sound of the ticking of the clock. It sounded like people were gathering in her head. The more closed in the room got, the more voices there were.
She started panicking. Her breathe became frantic and all of the voices went crazy inside her head. She closed her eyes, trying to control her breathing and her heart rate. When she opened them, she was still sitting in the same room, with a sick old lady coughing, and outside, a joyous young girl chasing after a ball.
Elise felt like she was losing her mind. I have to get out of here, she thought. She ran outside, and wasn’t even paying attention. Before she knew it, she heard tired squealing and her own shriek.

The next few things were a blur. Elise was laying on the ground with her blood around her for the second time in her life. Except this time, she wasn’t even crying. There was no use, and she couldn’t feel anything. This is really it, she told herself.
She could feel herself coming in and out of conscienceness every moment, and every time she drifted away, it felt like her last. But she kept coming back. God, why won’t you take me already? End my pain… She believed though, that God had spoken back to her. It’s not your time yet… The last thing Elise had heard, or remembered was the ambulance sirens, and tubes being put on her. She drifted away…
