Sunday in Nature

Sunday in Nature

A Poem by Spirit

Here my body shall lie,
Beneath these barren trees,
Where sunlight saturates the land with light.
Here I will be.
No place to go, nothing more to do, no one to see..
No expectations.
If only I could linger here awhile longer,
Watching the blue sky pass me by,
Feeling the energy of the Earth renew my soul.
Please... just let me stay.
For here is where I need to be.
