Writing

This poem is focused on what writing means to me, personally.

Just like so many before me, I write.

I write to feel.

I write to express.

Writing allows me to grow… to learn… to heal.

It allows me to share my thoughts… my concerns… my dreams.

It frees me.

For within my page, within my writing, there is no judgment.

And in a world that relentlessly judges, it brings me peace.

It brings me peace in knowing that I don’t have to be always be right…

…And that there is no fear in being wrong.

This is the first piece of writing that I am releasing to the community. I am no professional, so I apologize if my writing is not completely up to par. I truly just want to share my words and connect with people who have a passion to release their inner truths in this manner. I hope you enjoy it!
