When i have my baby girl

In my arms

One day you’ll be

I’ll look down

As you smile at me

 

“Hi baby girl”

I slightly sing

You’ll giggle and smile

Your fingers wrap my ring

 

Your father comes

And kisses your head,

Takes you from my arms

It’s time for bed.

 

No don’t cry

I’m right here

Ill sing you to sleep

Nothing to fear.

 

Humming and singing

Your favorite tune

That time will come

Soon, very soon.
