Leo #3A Chapter by ally B.
I was about to answer before the waitress came and Adeline carted her away. I’m still trying to figure out what the waitress mean’t by her words. Did Adeline run away? Who is she really? When will I find out who she really is? I watched her take the waitress around the corner and as they talk in hushed whispers. I tried to focus on the conversation but I could barely peel my eyes of Adeline and not in the good way like I was just looking at her to catch the conversation. Issiac looked back and forth between me and her and sighed “ Leo, your getting all starry eyed. I actually think I saw you drool a second ago.” He says boredly like he was already over the words he was speaking. I frown and look at Adeline as she sits back down. We meet eye contact and we just stare at each other for the longest time, I could tell she was hiding something; now I just had to find out what it was. Her lips curl in a slight smirk and one of her eyebrows raise like she was challenging me. So then we ordered, and we ate, then we walked out while she was still holding the attention of everyone in the diner. Then we got in the car and we drove off, just like that we were gone. Those people were merely graced by her presence for an hour. They would never know who she really was, like maybe I would never know who she really is. © 2016 ally B. |
