74. Another Television Show?!

*We’ve finally settled down enough to be briefed on the next case. JJ leads us into the next room, and we all sit while the puts the pictures up on the projector*

 

JJ: Now, this is not necessarily a BAU case. But a fellow Detective friend of mine--

 

Prentiss: *cough* Will. *cough*

 

JJ: Yes, well, he came to me and told me about strange happenings in a town called Haven, Maine. Now--

 

Me: WHAT?! Haven?!

 

Gideon: Please don’t tell me that’s your mother’s hometown or something?

 

Me: *glares*

 

Jocelyn: No, it’s ANOTHER TV show.

 

Hotchner: ANOTHER Television show?!

 

Megan: Unfortunately.

 

Me: It’s the town where everyone has powers. *is continuing to glare at Gideon*

 

JJ: Will was VERY certain this town needs help.

 

Hotchner: Why’s that?

 

JJ: Because there’s only two cops for one, and for two, the town’s out of control.

 

Me: Out of control how?

 

JJ: *sighs* I was hoping you’d have me make a decision.

 

Hotchner: A decision about what?

 

JJ: My heart tells me to go with this case, but my gut tells me to go with the other case.

 

Gideon: What other case?

 

JJ: This one. *shows the pictures*

 

Hotchner: *sighs* How about this; Olivia, Reid and I will check out this Haven town. The rest of you can go and solve this other case. We’ll join you when we’re sure that everything’s okay.

 

Gideon: Sounds like a plan.

 

Jocelyn: Where does the other case take place?

 

JJ: Boston, Massachusetts.

 

Mayisha: LIKE FROM HIDE AND SEEK~

 

Me: WHICH. YOU. UNPUBLISHED.

 

Mayisha: Um…

 

Reid: On that website?

 

Hotchner: Please. I don’t WANT to know what goes on that website.

 

Me: *pouts* Fine. What if I wrote poems praising you?

 

Hotchner: I don’t want to know…

 

Jocelyn: WHY ARE YOU TAKING MY BOYFRIEND TO HAVEN AND NOT ME?! I WANT TO GO.

 

Hotchner: The team needs you with them.

 

Reid: I’m only going because I’m a genius.

 

Me: and Hotchy wants me with him.

 

*Silence*

 

Me: What, it’s true! You all know it’s true.

 

Prentiss: Yeah, I guess so.

 

Gideon: Kind of.

 

Reid: Well…

 

Hotchner: HEY!

 

Reid: Stating a fact…

 

Jocelyn: COME BACK TO ME, MY LOVE!

 

Me: Wait, I thought you said you guys weren’t dating?

 

Jocelyn and Reid: We’re not.

 

Me: … *cracks up*
