70. Going Off the Deep End

*Hotch manages to get me back into the room we’re sharing. He shuts and locks the door behind us, and I fall down on the bed awkwardly*

 

Me: What, are you going to make out with me too? Like Megan and Gideon were making out earlier.

 

Hotchner: W-what?

 

Me: ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION.

 

Hotchner: I don’t want you leaving.

 

Me: Well, we have to go catch Grey. He’s on the loose. THE LOOOOOOSE, I TELL YOU.

 

Hotchner: You’re not feeling well, I can tell.

 

Me: YEAH, IT’S CALLED INSANITY, HOTCHNER.

 

Hotchner: You pushed yourself too hard. Now all the stress is coming crashing down on you.

 

Me: THIS HAS BEEN THE WORSE DAY OF MY LIFE, D****T.

 

Hotchner: Olivia--

 

Me: YOU KNOW WHAT?! I lied. I HATE you. You disgust me. You’re like a snake, and I HATE snakes above everything else. Besides maybe you that is.

 

Hotchner: You’re delirious.

 

Me: Wrong. I’m finally SEEING for once in my life. My friends all abandon me for their little loves. Megan and Gideon, Jocelyn and Reid. It’ll probably be Mayisha and Morgan next.

 

Hotchner: Please, Olivia…

 

Me: YOU’RE BACKING ME UP INTO THE WALL! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!

 

Hotchner: I’m not backing you up into anything.

 

Me: No one cares anymore. The Doctor’s left me for GOD KNOWS WHAT, Grey is the murderer that almost cut my goddamn throat open, everyone’s leaving me… Am I nothing, anymore? Am I just a piece of trash to be left out in the wind? Maybe that’s why I’m going insane. Because God wants me to fight back.

 

Hotchner: Fight back from what?

 

Me: *grabs the lamp and tries to throw it at him*

 

Hotchner: *dodges, watches it crash on the floor* Olivia!

 

Me: AARON!

 

Hotchner: I am your superior. You don’t use my first name.

 

Me: And yet YOU can use mine.

 

Hotchner: I’m your Unit Chief.

 

Me: You keep SAYING that, but it doesn’t MEAN anything.

 

Hotchner: Olivia…

 

Me: CALL. ME. SMITH.

 

Hotchner: Smith!

 

Me: I’M GOING OFF THE DEEP END! I’M GOING OFF THE… *faints*

 

Hotchner: *picks me up* *turns and leaves, shutting and locking the door behind

him*
