52. ...Is It That Obvious?

The Doctor has a mental breakdown :)

*In Salt Lake City, Utah*

 

*The BAU remaining is working on the case. They’ve gotten no leads so far, and they can’t connect the case with any other ones. They’re beginning to think that their only hope is another body. They’re hard at work, still not giving up, when Hotch’s cell rings. He pulls it out of it’s holder and answers*

 

Hotchner: Hotchner.

 

Me: *on the other end* HOTCH!

 

Hotchner: Olivia? What is it? *puts it on the speaker so that the team can hear*

 

Me: We found Megan and Gideon.

 

Everyone: *sighs in relief*

 

Hotchner: Where?

 

Me: They were in a field somewhere. They were dumped, like corpses.

 

Hotchner: Are they okay?

 

Me: No. They’re physically exhausted, and Megan had a screaming fit before they took her away.

 

Morgan: Who?

 

Reid: *speaks up* The medics. We’re at the hospital.

 

Me: Something scared her real bad. And that’s extremely hard to do.

 

Mayisha: Don’t we know it.

 

Mulder: You say they were in the middle of a… field.

 

Prentiss: *knows* DON’T.

 

Mulder: I’m just saying…

 

Scully: Mulder, don’t push it.

 

Reid: What?

 

Prentiss: Agent MULDER was going to say that they were abducted and left in the traditional field.

 

Me: Well that’s impossible because…

 

Mayisha and Jocelyn: SHUSH!

 

Me: Oh… yeah…

 

Mulder: What?

 

Mayisha, Jocelyn and I: NOTHING.

 

Scully: Do you need us down there?

 

Prentiss: No, you guys keep working on the case. We just wanted to let you know we found them.

 

Reid: Did you find anything?

 

Hotchner: No. We’re beginning to think that a new body is what we need, or we’ll have to give up this case entirely.

 

Prentiss: Unless it’s ALIENS. *sarcasm*

 

Mulder: Agent Prentiss, I firmly believe you are out of line.

 

Prentiss: Well I firmly believe--

 

Me: PRENTISS! MULDER! We need to concentrate.

 

Prentiss and Mulder: …

 

Reid: Okay. We know that there’s some kind of chemical put in the water. Most likely. Call Garcia.

 

Hotchner: Search for chemicals. We already tried that.

 

Reid: And?

 

Jocelyn: Nothing that fit’s the description.

 

Me: D****t.

 

Jocelyn: We’ll keep working.

 

Doctor: OLIVIA I LOVE YOU!

 

Me: I LOVE Y-- *Hotch hangs up*

 

Doctor: WHAT?! WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?!

 

Hotchner: We have to focus.

 

Doctor: Focus on what? You just hung up on my soon-to-be wife!

 

Hotchner: IF she says yes.

 

*Silence*

 

Doctor: Y-you think she’ll say no?

 

Hotchner: It’s a possibility you have to consider.

 

Jocelyn: There’s no one she likes better?

 

Hotchner: *is depressed suddenly* Yeah… I guess there isn’t…

 

Mayisha: JOCELYN. He means him.

 

Jocelyn: Wha…?

 

Mayisha: HOTCH. LIKES. LIV.

 

Jocelyn: …OH!

 

Mayisha: Thank you!

 

Hotchner: I don’t “like” her.

 

Morgan: Yeah, you “love” her.

 

Hotchner: What?

 

JJ: C’mon, Hotch. We’re profilers. We’re able to see this kind of stuff.

 

Scully: It’s so obvious, even we saw it.

 

Mulder: *nods*

 

Hotchner: …Is it that obvious?

 

Morgan: Yeah, kind of.

 

Doctor: *stands* YOU WHAT?!

 

Mayisha: C’mon, Doc. Liv is an all around cool girl. She’s bound to have other people like her other than you. Like Jack and Reid with Jos.

 

Jocelyn: …Um, what?

 

Morgan: It’s kind of obvious that Reid likes Jocelyn as well.

 

JJ: But not as obvious as Hotch and Liv.

 

Hotchner: …Do you think she likes me back?

 

Jocelyn: Ha, Hotch being a bit childish…

 

Hotchner: Hey!

 

Morgan: Man, she LOVES you.

 

Doctor: WHAT?!

 

Jocelyn: She can’t help it. Hotch is… attractive.

 

Hotchner: *eyebrow*

 

Jocelyn: …TO HER.

 

Hotchner: Seriously?

 

Mayisha: DUH. She can’t stop talking about you.

 

Doctor: *covers his ears* UGH! I CAN’T HEAR THIS!

 

Jocelyn: It’s YOUR fault for not being here!

 

Doctor: I WAS ONLY GONE FOR THREE WEEKS!

 

Mayisha: SHE. GOT. SHOT. MULTIPLE. TIMES.

 

Mulder: Guys…

 

Doctor: She can’t… It’s not… UGH! *storms away*

 

Scully: *sighs* I’ll go get him. *leaves*

 

Jocelyn: Wow, he’s having a mental breakdown.

 

Hotchner: Does Olivia like me more than him?

 

Mayisha: DON’T PUSH IT.

 

Hotchner: NOT A WORD OF THIS TO HER, YOU UNDERSTAND?

 

Mayisha, Morgan, Jocelyn, Mulder, and JJ: *crosses fingers behind their backs* We understand.
