6. Not You Too!

Short chapter, sorry.

*In Quantico’s Hospital*

 

*Reid and I are talking heatedly, me telling Reid all about his role in Criminal Minds. Hotchner walks in, and I have a spaz attack*

 

Me: HOLY MOTHER OF RASSILON, IT’S AGENT AARON HOTCHNER!

 

Hotchner: And she knows me… how?

 

Reid: Apparently, we’re in a TV show

 

Hotchner: Oh, not you too!

 

Reid: Huh?

 

Hotchner: Her friend, Megan Soul, claims that Criminal Minds is a TV show that chronicles our lives.

 

Me: Well, it does.

 

Hotchner: So you’re saying she’s right.

 

Me: I’ll say anything for you, baby.

 

Hotchner: *weirded out* Um… okay?

 

Reid: Smith?

 

Hotchner: You call her “Smith”?

 

Reid: We got to know each other.

 

Hotchner: *gives him a once over* I see that.

 

Reid: Hotch!

 

Hotchner: Yes?

 

Me: HOTCH!

 

Hotchner: *turns* Yes?

 

Me: Has anyone ever told you that you’re gorgeous?

 

Hotchner: …

 

Reid: Smith, tell Hotch what you told me.

 

Me: Okay Hotch -- can I call you Hotch?

 

Hotchner: I suppose.

 

Me: Right-o, Hotch. You guys are part of a TV show called Criminal Minds.

 

Hotchner: About the BAU?

 

Me: Yup. *winces* Ow. Your gorgeousness made me hurt.

 

Hotchner: …

 

Reid: She seems to be very attracted to you, Hotch.

 

Me: I LOVE YOU HOTCH!

 

Hotchner: I don’t know you.

 

Me: Oh, yeah, that’s a problem. But I know you. From the show, that is. And there’s the problem that I already have a boyfriend. A boyfriend that refuses to show up when I need him the most. I could have used the Zero Room in the TARDIS when I was bleeding and dying on the ground from lead poisoning. Did my lovely boyfriend show up then? Of course not. God knows where he is. He’s probably-- *pauses* Am I rambling again?

 

Reid: A little bit.

 

Hotchner: You sound like Reid.

 

Me and Reid: What?

 

Hotchner: You two are two of a kind.

 

Reid: Whatever happened to Mr. No-Sense-of-Humor?

 

Hotchner: *ignores him* peas in a pod.

 

Me: There are two reasons why that is wrong. One, I am already attached to you, darling Hotchner. The second reason is that Mayisha has already claimed Reid.

 

Hotchner: The insane girl?

 

Reid: *at the same time* People have claimed me without my consent?

 

Hotchner: Apparently so.

 

Me: Yup, the insane girl. I see you’ve met her.

 

Hotchner: I haven’t. Agent Gideon interviewed her.

 

Me: Tell him I’m so sorry.

 

Hotchner: He’s interrogating the gunman kidnapped while we speak.

 

Me: I’m pretty sure that Mayisha is worse.

 

Reid: Why’s that?

 

Me: Have you met her?

 

Reid: No.

 

Me: Oh right. Well, she’s off her rocker.

 

Reid: How so?

 

Me: You have to meet her.

 

Hotchner: Any how, Olivia, as soon as your feeling better, I’d like you to come with me to Quantico.

 

Me: As long as it’s okay with the doctors, I’ll be ready in five.

 

Hotchner: Fast recovery.

 

Me: *winks* I’m Olivia Smith, YO.

 

Hotchner and Reid: *look at one another*
