JewelA Poem by RuairidhI posted this a couple of weeks ago but removed it shortly after to make some changes.
Some things last forever,
Or seem to do at least, Like sunlight setting in the west And rising in the east. The rocks that lie beneath us; The mountains climbed above; The sky in omnipresence, Horizon's distant curve. But our lives are much quicker, Not so long for the earth, Our time is as an arrow With a target set from birth. Yet still there lies a jewel In the space mid you and me, That sparkles in the star-lit glow Of all eternity.
