Veiled

Veiled

A Poem by Ruairidh

Her eyes contain multitudes
Of hidden splendour,
Locked in a veiled threat -
The guise of a sinner.

Yet see them shine
And see life undimmed -
The gentle rhythm
Of an elemental hymn.

Human fabric freely shines
Through the veils they place
Between her inner beauty
And their outer space.

Oh my, that was beautiful. So short and yet so... flabbergasting... Just mesmerising, I wouldn't think such a short and simple text could have that affect but this has proved me wrong. Well done!
