A Poem by allison

Eye dropper dreams

and Kafka screams

My world has turned technicolor

and I now see how to freeze the moment

I am lost to the herd

I dug under the wall

realizing that escape and projections are no longer options

You found me on the dock of my life

and asked me why I was afraid

to take a walk

to the end

and look down into my creation

Nineteen steps

Only the last four stirred

You said, "just a drop for clarification"

My god

I didn't even know I was blind

bound

by a monocolor scene

You took away my finger paints

saying it was time to move on to oils

Rubbing exotic colors into my lips

Lowering me into the bath of words

They enveloped me

Taking me down

to the blackness of my bottom

in order to understand

how to get out

I really enjoyed this, as it was never ending and flowed like calm running water, terribly enjoyed the end:
"Taking me down
to the blackness of my bottom
in order to understand
how to get out"

I am screaming YES!! I get it - it's so familiar to me!
Great work!
