Doctors, childcare and pregnancy handbooks, internet websites are constant sources of heaps of tips and suggestions for the pregnant woman on what she should be avoiding and what she should be doing during pregnancy.


At last pregnant women are left feeling very bewildered and confused and some of them find it difficult to find out facts from the myths. Such a situation may arise especially when you are first time to be moms. Most pregnant woman throughout their pregnancy what to do the best for their baby, without   putting the baby in any sort of risky situation.


Exercising when pregnant can help in soothing as well as preventing common aches and pains. Exercise when pregnant also helps in strengthening for labour and postpartum in addition to building lean muscles. But, certainly there are some do’s and don’ts which pregnant woman should be aware of. There are many females who were exercising before they were pregnant, hence they can continue doing so. On the other hand, there may be some females who weren’t exercising before pregnancy, then this is the time to take up some gentle exercises such as yoga or pilates, swimming, walking aiming to do about thirty minutes, to remain fit and active.

    

There are some symptoms or conditions which may make exercise during pregnancy inadvisable. You have to therefore, talk to your doctor to follow which exercise suitable to your body. There are certain cases in which exercise during pregnancy is not advisable which includes, vaginal bleeding, preterm labour, preterm premature ruptures of membranes, pregnancy-induced hypertension. Some other ongoing medical conditions such as heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid abnormalities and lung diseases are conditions where pregnancy exercises should not be done.


Those women who do exercise while they are pregnant are less likely to put on weight, and they also find improvements in their general mood and sleeping patterns along with experiencing rapid weight loss.

 During pregnancy many changes occur in a woman’s body, both physiological and musculoskeletal. Owing to these changes it can result in a various other effects such as of weight gain, gravity, lower back pain, pressure on joints, tilted pelvis, looser joints of the body, shoulder & neck misalignment and. If you wish to reduce injury pain during and after pregnancy, then, you need to address there postural imbalances. After understanding the innumerable benefits of exercising during pregnancy, there should be no reasons for you not to them.


After the birth of the baby, new moms must make time to exercise. Post natal exercise classes play a very important role to maintain the health of new mums. The advantages of post natal exercises includes weight control, improved circulation, less constipation, improved digestion, reduced risks of any other complications. There may be changes made in the post natal exercises depending on the health of the new mums.
