Is God There For Me?

"God is always there for us in our times of need,"

"Ask for his help and pray, and He'll answer your prayers." they said.

But every time I feel weak, hopeless & scared I feel like God is never there for me.

Every time I reach out my hand to grasp His & seek His help and support,

I feel as if he isn't there for me....

as if He left me alone and abandoned me.

But maybe God is trying to test my strength, 

to see how long I can hold myself before I give up and let go...

Is this really what God wants me to do? To hold on until I can't go on, to give up when everything else seems hopeless?

Great job here! I think this really captures the struggle we all have when it comes to faith. And what many people don't realize is that it is OKAY to have doubts. it's okay to question and cry out. I really like how much emotion- raw emotion you put into your writing.

I know the feeling of doubt. This poem sums up every doubt any and everyone has ever had. I like it. It evokes a lot of emotions from hopelessness and despair to faith and the will power to overcome. It's deep.
