Silent CriesA Poem by Lion's Roarsilence is power...She’s the shy type, That thinks a lot, but doesn't say much. She’s the one that notices everything, But doesn't get noticed. She has a hard time expressing her feelings, So she just keeps them bottled away. She tries to express herself through writing poems and such, Hoping to be heard... But who is that girl? She's constantly wanting to be alone, Always hiding away from the world, Afraid of being judged and misunderstood. She pretends to be okay on the inside, Faking smiles and laughter, But on the inside she feels like dying... But who is that girl? She locks herself in her room, Sits on the edge of her bed, Always wanting to separate herself from Everyone And Everything. Alone, she cries silently. She clenches her fists to the point that they’re white, wanting to hold back her tears and her Deep Heavy Sobs, All while wishing she was somebody else... That girl, you see, Is me. © 2018 Lion's RoarAuthor's Note
