Memories

A Poem by Allen Gunn
"

Why even try to remember?

"

Memories the bad ones engraved in our minds

Memories the good ones float away like butterflies

Memories who remembers the time between war

Memories who writes about the man who didn’t get shot in the Sunday paper

Memories they can hurt, they can sting, and they can sing

Of memories lost long ago

"who remembers the time between war"
"who writes about the man who didn’t get shot in the Sunday paper"
I definitely agree. Though, I don't think I'm all for the idea of the word "Memory" before every line. It's only my opinion, but I think the work would do well without it.
Good work, though. Keep it up.
