Europe In Or Out

Europe In Or Out

A Story by Allan

This is a political speech I delivered to a 'Question Time' style gathering in Wellingborough recently. I consider this a piece of writing, and have been asked to share it here.

Europe " In Or Out  Debate?

Due to this and previous governments policies, 450 million Europeans currently have the right to settle in the UK. On January the 1st 2014, 29 million Romanian and Bulgarians will also have open access to our health, education and benefit structures without making a single contribution.

In a recent survey, the British Social Attitude Survey says 67% of people think we should leave the E U. Many Britons feel the culture where enterprise pays, and hard work is rewarded is lost; there has been a substantial reduction in manufacturing and a crippling rise in indigenous unemployment

At our conference this year, Amjad Bashir talked about a graduate single mother from Lithuania.  She claims over £50,000 in benefits while spurning a full time job. She is on record saying “I take what is given to me.” UKIP supports a limited amount of immigration of those who are in danger, in genuine peril or those want to contribute to our society and better themselves. But, what we have is desperate migrants who use and abuse our hospitality, healthcare, education, benefits and lifestyle while giving noting in return and depriving their nations of talent and a future.

We need a British Immigration Policy. We need to leave the European Union and the European convention of Human RightsIn months we will have the European Elections.

These issues must be debated now soberly and not in anger or spite at a later date.

More people settled in the UK in 2010, than over the past 1000 years. Its all a question of scale, half a million new settlers is unsustainable. The other parties employ tactics like going around saying, Are you thinking what I'm thinking ?” No, UKIP say it how it is, you either agree or you don't, but you know where we stand.

UKIP is already forcing the discussion and influencing all the other parties policies, Prime Minister David Cameron is saying 'We should have a referendum on Europe.' Labour leader Ed Milliband said 'We were wrong on Immigration' Nick Clegg said '…' UKIP stood up to the pressure from Europe and said: 'No, we do not want a war in Syria' and the political spin was de-escalated. The other parties are trying to poach policies in an attempt to win votes, the only way the situation will change is to vote UKIP and send a message that we are unhappy with the current situation.

At UKIP, we firmly, fiercely oppose racism, extremism and sectarianism from our party. We want to be out there trading with countries that have growth rates over 5%, not hemmed in by the European Union and it's regulations and restrictions. Nigel Farage our leader said, 'Wouldn't it make sense to open up to English speaking countries in the commonwealth where we have cultural and family connections. Many of these countries have our Queen as their head of state, not Herman Van Rumpoy,' and I agree with him.  Britain needs a Global Future " We can only have that as independent country, free to trade with who we want to.

We are different from the Europeans across the channel. Our history gives us: common law, presumption of innocence before guilt, civil rights, habious corpus, (the right to a trial before a jury). In Europe, they have a different culture where confession is the mother of all evidence. Aspects of European justice have destroyed the lives of British people already, the European arrest warrant is an abomination to people who care about freedom and social justice. We can't continue to live under rules we don't believe in.

The European Commission have hijacked the brilliant project idea, that was a harmonious United Europe. They have a flag, an anthem a president, but sadly, they have driven tens of millions of people into poverty, like highly educated people, who work as waiters and waitresses in London cafes. Climate change obsession has destroyed the industries of Europe. Ignorance of social issues, is leading to a rise in extremism around Europe that is manifesting as racism, and even murder. In UKIP we are the only true Europeans. We want to live and work and breathe in a trading group of free, democratic sovereign states. We don't just want the UK out of the Europe Union, we want Europe out of the European Union.

It is estimated 10,000 a week coming here, half a million a year, a massive strain on NHS / social housing  and jobs. The foreign office believes 13,000. Migration watch is estimating, 50,000 for the first 5 years. A wage here is equal to 5 or 6 times that in Bulgaria. There is a U K based Romanian Crime wave; 28,000 arrests in Metropolitan London, 98% of ATM crime is Romanian gangs.

And so we hear 'We cant go it alone....' Peter Mandleson, Paddy Ashdown, Ken Clarke " they are wrong. 'They wont trade with us if we leave,' " 10,000 trucks travel through the tunnel to the UK with goods for sale. They sell us around 40 billion pounds of goods. As big as they think they are, the E.U. wouldn't break World Trade Organisation agreements, but most importantly, the German car companies simply will not allow a trade war with Britain.

Only by leaving the European Union can we have self determination.

One last thing, ignore the word 're-negotiation', its was a trick before, and it will be a trick again.

Allan: it's "habeus", not "habious". You present a well constructed and argued opinion piece and reads as if from a very reasonable man - which of course you are.
