Thé Everywhere of Home

Thé Everywhere of Home

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Silence as Home

"

The Everywhere of Home

Stretched beyond the steam engine’s roar
Surfaces facing any one of the storms
I hear a yell within me stampeding to opportunity
When I find myself in the maiden of silence
I gaze upon the everywhere of home.

Moments in magic time captured brilliantly in five sentences. That's how it is, can be and should.

This is amazing becuz it's so fresh & unexpected! When people think of "home" they think of all kinds of things & your short poem covers it all! I lived within spitting distant of a working rail line & I loved walking along the tracks & hearing the trains. Something about trains makes you feel like you could drift all over the place, which is how your poem feels (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

There is a spiritual practice known as entering the silence. This may be what the poem is referring to.
