Birth of Man

Birth of Man

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

is it your birthday?

"
Birth of Man

I saw an inkling of soul
masterminding itself around God's known breath
As air became atmosphere
As earth began to chatter around orbit
Day turn to night
The insects buzzed
Ever so slowly man would be born
in the twilight of fire & ice forevermore!

'Birth of Man'
Alfred Kukitz,
To be able to identify with the whole of life is a beautiful thing.
What is this unseen entity which drives all upon this globe?
You came up with some descriptive phrases:
'inkling of soul'
masterminding itself around God's known breath'
and this was very cool:
'As earth began to chatter around orbit'
and my favorite!
In the twilight of fire &Ice forevermore'
The last line brings up the rear of this long line of humanity
from day one, We work, cry, love, create, care- all wonderful.
Looking to God our source and the creator of all.
Blessings,
Kathy

Your powerful msg reminds me of the George Strait (country) song: "I saw God today" -- the first verse being about witnessing birth & feeling so much of what you describe here. Your poem seems to be a blend of universal birth vs individual birth . . . as if we can see the significance of all mankind in the miracle of one birth (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I love it. Deep with many connotations of wisdom. You are breathtaking.
