The Climb

The Climb

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Sometimes going backward means going forward

"

The Climb

Feet among the branches,
Silence in tow
Mind headed for heavens
Limbs & leaves mingle above the norms of old
Catch the wave of soundlessness
Return to days of old where little minds
grow in the imagination of the soul.

It's true when we are engrossed in nature silence becomes our bonnet. As we take in the sites and store them with our imagination.

This is a great glimpse of how life can be both cyclical & topsy-turvy. I love the opening line . . . it feels like one is hanging upside down . . . that starts us off on an unexpected note. Lives are often a mix of moving forward & flashing back, well imagined while reading your message (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Going back and reflecting on your path allows you to reset it. I feel this. I'm doing much reflecting and resetting these days.
