A Soft Flush of Embarrassment

A Soft Flush of Embarrassment

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Red face

"

In a soft flush of September
the red barely reaching its crescendo of embarrassment
I stole a kiss of your innocence
carrying it to my heart
Pocketing a moment of love’s lasting magic.

really sweet metaphor in this one....
being able to pocket that moment for future use...priceless.
