old galA Poem by Alfred Kukitzfor debbieOld Gal sheets of music lay in the old gal’s mind she sings a life divine and within the trees vine i often loved her for simple deeds done making my mind tickle when the old gal was done i came to see her to help her along the man she loved was completely gone and i at times would surely take his place if only the power laid in my grace thus we smiled in our joys and hallowed in Ken’s flight of face i could cry for an angel to see my buddy’s smile and hug him as though he were live the old gal and i meandered along her joy contagious like singing a song i wanted to love her like a man of real worth but i always remembered ken’s in first place © 2018 Alfred KukitzReviews
