The Run Away

The Run Away

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

with my bad heart?

"

The Run Away

It’s Time I see running in its place
Just a breath, a small puff of air,
I grab it’s confines, rest on the laurels of the moment
Here time straggles, struggles to run,
Oh the power of stillness,
The insight of epiphany
A dance with serendipity
I play knowing only to soon
We all run away

Thank You Owl on the Moon!

In retirement time slips and slides all over the atmosphere.

Regards,
Al

One can feeling the struggle, the pulling, the sighing, the glimpse of time slipping out of sight. So rhythmic and rich.

I'll stand by you, Alfred. "A dance with serendipity", only if I can dance barefoot!
