Piano Players

Piano Players

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz

Piano Players

Did I find you on a song played piano
where tune and I wondered around the avenue
How you carried our triumph into the coda
How you steered the heights of inner chorus cheer

So humbly we rest in our window
A piano closed for the day
So we tumbled our eyes into forever
and played like pianos play.
