As Echoes Travel

As Echoes Travel

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

is that me?

"

As Echoes Travel

As I lean on my broom of memories
a daydream sweeps me to a land of plenty
There in the mystery of what has been said
comes a chorus of all my selves
from baby to old man all smiling at me
We wave from the balcony of our souls
pleased to have met you so the echo goes!

Thanks Moon's Fairest Daughter!

I get intoxicated by your visits. Soul, beauty, I kind of divineness.

Regards,
Al

"Echoes fade, and memories die;
Autumn frosts have slain July;
Still, she haunts me, phantomwise
Alice moving under skies, never seen by waking eyes..."
This poem reminded me so much of this quote from "Through the looking glass"... It's definitely one of my favourite quotes...💖
