A Mile in the Quiet

A Mile in the Quiet

A Mile in the Quiet

I've gone a mile or so in my quiet
as the view of light & darkness
hover in an arc across the silences
An absence of start & finish follows my road
Shall I stop in any brief surprise
Look into a depth that quietude offers inside
Or keep moving on my way
feeling the quiet embracing my day?

We all need those walks where we speak to silence. It's soothing to the soul. Great write.. Happy writing!
