A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

good morning writer's cafe

"

Start

Four a.m.
The breath rises from supine
Eyes stare at a ten year view
Older, farts sing their song with glee,
I mumbled about something between the cheeks
Feet follow the course of yesterday,
the day before and the day before that
Jackson seizes his first treat
as I look upon my big boys eyes.
