A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

hey dad what's happening

"

DISApproval

Waiting a lifetime
He hides in the silver cloth of discovery
A cloth of no sound
A cloth of no vibrations
He whittles time down to feebleness
when the arc of apology crosses his lips
and sorry utters its horrible echo
The cloth naked
The shine of silver long gone
He misses a lifetime of father and son.
