On a Whim of a Sail

On a Whim of a Sail

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

help! I'm floating and can't get down

"

On the Whim of a Sail

The surrounding of words
Battles on the dollar's front lines
Poetry somewhere becoming a back door crime
While everyone drinks and dances
The Earth sinks into its own lapses.

I'm of the ilk where reality meets my mind
A sly smile or two as I battle with poetic line
Okay......okay I'm guilty of another back door crime.
When you say it's easy the hardness grabs your tail
I orbit the earth on the whim of my sail.

Thanks Lydia!

It certainly didn't match your masterpiece but I'm glad you visited.

Regards,
Al

The whim of your sail....certainly takes you to a good place, Al. If poetry is a back door crime, all of us will meet behind bars....of steel, not places to imbibe! I feel the frustration in your words. Lydi**
