Among Billions

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz

Among the Billions

Born onto kayak, water and stream
The silences of nature lives in a dream
I've paddled the liquid, scented it's charm
I am of wilderness that bonds the forever to my arms.
My movement is stillness in abstract form
I love the illusion of nature's form
I cast all dispersions to the wind
and if the air is still I dismiss them to whims.
Like all who endeavor in the expanse of air
the prayer is for solitude among the billions of men.
