In the Groove

In the Groove

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

whoa!

"

In the Groove

i’m in a smooth of bouncy lose

lost in the underclass of being

i’ve tiptoed across the planet

following westerly breezes

that dream my thoughts away

no i haven’t indulged in one moment of drugs or booze

i’m simply telling my own muse what to do

here….watch me slide again

i’m in a smooth ‘cause i found my groove!

This reminds me of my own life! After spending all those decades trying to do life the way everyone else does, finally I've gotten in my own groove. I love that you note this isn't about drugs or booze, it's a natural high & I know how that feels! *smile*
