Early Cro-Magnon

Early Cro-Magnon

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

man's early days

"

Early Cro-Magnon

He slid into an early frame of himself
Wit catapulted him into one of unusual species
As though on a platform of his own making
He became time.
When all the forces of destiny gathered
upon his brow falling him to the dust
of Earth he crumpled like any early human
but the knowledge he held gathered around
all humanity.

Thanks Lydia,

Sometimes I think an important sphere or potential was lost to time.

And the knowledge is handed down from generation to generation. Perhaps the Cro-Magnon man looked a lot different than we do, but he was human....which means we are really a lot like him. Lydi**

Thanks E!

I had the genetic testing done recently. I think it prompted it. I have Neanderthal in me.

how very interesting ..great closing line in my opinion .. i can not help but feel a raised respect for archaeology and all their painstaking scratching around in the dirt .. enjoyed the read .. i like the depth behind it
