Hooray

Hooray

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

swim......anyone?

"

Hooray

A peanut butter molecule,
swimming in a bowl of cereal
A breath stroke morning
Gathering almond milk soaking my pores
It's a long way to the other side of the bowl
I swim changing to the back stroke
Rice Chex, pumpkin seeds get in my way
Will I ever make it?
Hey! I'm on the other side!
Hooray!

Thanks KL!

Simon wrote a song about being a corn flake swimming in a bowl. It's where I got the idea. The peanut butter is powder, low fat, diabetes offers few options with food, hence, all that stuff in one bowl.

Al

Hahaha. Very inventive!

I love the idea....swimming in the morning breakfast bowl, instead of doing the real hard laps in the pool.

But peanut butter in the cereal? Eww. I will pass on that!

Another very original and witty piece, Alfred.

I really like this, in an odd, perplexing sort of way -- can't imagine all those things in one bowl. :)
