Farewell to My Honey Girl

Farewell to My Honey Girl

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

a new home for honey

"

Farewell to My Honey Girl

Few smiles inhabit the colors of the rainbow
The window of desire cast its dark gloom beam
My sweet Honey Girl will no longer live inside my loving arms
Her wag of the tail and sometimes the wag of her whole body
will elude my loving eyes.
The silence of my tears seem to say cry for my bumbling ways
A buddy for Jackson, a Lab in remembrance of my Sammy's parting days,
Here I am in a gloomy dark moment knowing my puppy will be better off instead
I can hear her calling me in her joyous hours
"Al.......Al......I'm so happy for this new found home. I'll always remember you as one found colored flower."

Thanks Kelly!

Honey didn't die she moved to another home. I can't tell you how many times I went to the ground in her enthusiasm, moreover, Jackson was aggressive toward other dogs nearing her.
She moved up a couple of rungs on the ladder of heaven, a one year old playmate, huge fenced in yard, nice people. She will be happier.

Regards,
Al

She was truly your child, for you loved her as any parent would love their own. My heart breaks to know you are hurting...but I pray you'll find the comfort you need in knowing she's at rest!

Much love and many hugs to you & Jackson! xo

Thanks Homason!

It is always best to creatively voice the issue so I can lay this mistake to rest.

Regards,
Al

Beautiful language defines the art of literature. This is so real with high imaginative power. Allusion not denied...
Authentic love doesn't devalue another human being.
