I am Here to Listen

I am Here to Listen

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

I can hear you

"

I Am Here to Listen

I would always note the way you would say your words to me.
That echo of softness, your natural veer to the beauty of words said,
An elementary kiss upon my ears seething in love's fine tuned alto.
Your "I love you" coursing through the tenderness of my heart
I will always hear you, the tenor of my voice in a depressed loving silence
quietly waiting for a paragraph of love's passage deepening my love of you
until we sink into each other's arms as our unspoken words
meet across the frontier of our lips.

Thanks Doodley,

I missed being here, almost forgot I wrote this piece, I do like it. Listening is a real art form but right now my attention is on a portrait shoot with a Forest Nymph, Kim. Post production goes on!

Al

A very romantic piece, Alfred.

We are all guilty of not listening to the one's we love, yet when we really do listen we realise why we love them. And sometimes we do need silence to realise our emotions and what they really mean. And yes, silence also helps when the one we love tends to be a chatterbox from time to time!

A very sensual, lovingly written poem. Nice work.

Thanks Jacob!

When Deb and I get together I have to put my T into the air. She rambles on like a thoroughbred in thought never knowing that the horse and listener grow tired.

Regards,
Al

unspoken words are often the best...we talk too much or we get too wordy when we write...the silence, our silence allows us to listen...to hear...to accept....
