Fatigue's FriendshipA Poem by Alfred Kukitz2 1/2 hours of paddling a kayak meant two full days of fatigue.Fatigue's Friendship There is a heaviness in my eyes causing a drift into darkness. Comfort rounds itself traveling the circumference of my eyelid I feel the spirit of fatigue loving me coaxing the body to stay a while. Perhaps tea is in order or say why not a spot or two of bourbon? We gather round each other like old friends drift off to sleep as the day comes to meet my tired fatigued end. © 2016 Alfred KukitzReviews
