Upon Innocence's Face

Upon Innocence's Face

In the chaos of dreams the spark discovered invites you in
DNA unfolds its spiral staircase
You climb upon its seat of gold
Far afield, back in time
a medley of knowledge plays its rhyme
Early man, a renaissance of things,
Battles fought and won as death spills on silent tongues
As the film continues you find a place
and rest upon innocence's face.

Thanks Doodley!

I do like this one myself. I was reading about the savant phenomenon, how someone with the proper bump on the head, can begin to play classical music without any training. The speculation was the information was located in the DNA.

Regards,
Al

This is an interesting poem, Alfred.......

Life and Dreams....in a timeline from the past to the present....to find that place where you belong in peace and tranquility. Love the rhyme and use of words in this piece.

Another intriguing write! And a very good name for a poem! Nice work.
