Walking in Your Loneliness

Walking in Your Loneliness

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

are you alone?

"

Walking in Your Loneliness

If only you could send me a letter,
Print pretty letters that sing,
try a round of punctuation
boxing its ears off the shelf
Say something like, "I love YOU"
or maybe, perhaps, feel your grace
as I walk in your loneliness.

Bit sad, makes me think of someone waiting and willing while the other someone chooses instead to be alone, for whatever reason.
