Hare vs. Tortoise

Hare vs. Tortoise

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the big race is on

"

Hare vs. Tortoise

Best race for the money
A turtle crawling to his kids
You may turn around not missing a thread
So our friend the tortoise might sit a spell
While along comes hare gasping for air
The heat and fur don't mix so well
As they come to the finish line
we know all to well that panting
was never a child of victory's farewell.

Well Pryde here's the real truth. Give me soup from the turtle and let the hare (hazel ra) from Watership Down go free.

Thanks!

Regards,
Al

It may be a turtle but it has racing stripes on its side. Always felt sorry for the hare. Great write, Al:)
