A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the key lost

"

Enclosed

If I had misgivings it was because I gave them to myself.
Silence seemed my likely partner
A void of reality leaned heavily into second.
I put my drifting third because I think the number mysterious
When I laugh at the fool enclosed in my skin
I ponder what lie I could be with all the power of the world.

Pass the fear is always the first step. You may feel an extreme shudder inside but the release from it will be akin to orgasm of joy.

Thank you Ana!

I have wonder this too, if I unlocked my full potential then how great (or dangerous) might I be.
Is it ok though to settle into a comfortable mediocrity? I'm torn. Sometimes I long for the Galt's Gulch but would it be exhausting and stressful in a different way maybe? I don't know... We are here to live and die. Have fun Al.

Thank you Pryde for the namaste. You tickled my yoga bone! I must vent war themed configurations it's a way of seeing it through. Yoga helps!

Why am thinking of the Donald? I suppose the bigger the stage the bigger the flop when we forget life is but 'strutting and fretting'. That said if there were one thing I could put an end to ... it would be war. But in this case you cannot fight fire with fire ... it is spreading peace; nothing else will do and it can only start with self. Grant yourself peace. Namaste, Al:)

Thank you KL!

If there was significance in my life my soul would have avoided Nam.

I have to Amy otherwise I'm in the pool of slobs drooling like a maniac and barking moon.

Try this one Jacob.......you have control of 100,000 men who think like robots and you can do anything you want. It reminds me of the N.Korean leader. I love when death gets these guys.

pondering what lie i could be...

yes, power, it can create a false sense of security...of entitlement...

but when reality strikes...oh we are the fools accepting, buying into the lie.

We are all fools, we mortals. It is our inerent nature. To recgnize this shows that you have elevated your mind and spirit.
Your poems feel good in my head, intelligent and challenging.

This seems like the speaker struggles with his apparent insignificance in the world.
