Conductor of Rhapsody

Conductor of Rhapsody

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

Conductor of Rhapsody

Eyes sweat in the moisture of laughter
There's intrinsic virtuosity along a beam in your mind
You shutter in the infinite
Pose as rapture feeding the souls of many
Here you mingle with Mahler, Bach, Beethoven and more
Did sainthood arrive long before your breath extinguished you?

I am of silk and composure
Lasting centuries into the void of nothingness
Whereupon fill transposes into an arc of complete
and utter terror of beauty
I wave my wand knowingly killing you.
I invite you all to infinity.

It's the kind of killing that tickles as you fall to the ground.

Thanks for visiting SoulSinger!

The name Conductor of Rhapsody pulled me in and reminded me of Queen's song. As for the killing part- well done. Wasn't aware I was going to be murdered haha

Thanks Jacob!

I feel like these thoughts ambushed me. So unaware where I was going. Of course they followed my natural inclination of thought. Still......it feels miraculous.

I listen to rock quite a bit too!

Al

Sometimes I don't really believe what comes out of my head. I, too, have felt similar things. My love is classical among a rapturous landscape. The French Pyrenees were coaxing me into the sublime.

Thanks KL!

The power of music is in this piece. The crescendo, the crash, the fall -- my favourite classical music includes a kind of drama, a fire -- that is what I feel from this poem.
