A Victory of Surrender

A Victory of Surrender

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

tonight a kiss

"

A Victory of Surrender

Victory a small kiss of tenderness

a lush time frail unassuming

as hands embrace

hearts crossing over each others atmosphere

they hear silence calling but

ignore its plan

hopefully the eyes sink into each other

coos spread out across horizons

in an envelope of their own making

they surround each other in a

surrender of the each soul to the other.

Thanks Jacob!

I was probably premature in posting the poem. The last line feels odd to me.

Regards,
Al

such a romantic play of words here...soundless sounds, eyes sinking into each other, hearts meshing...

the kiss of surrender....

the last line trips me a bit....but overall...i feel it.
