Tissue's Memories

Tissue's Memories

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

off the tree

"

Tissue's Memories

A tissue falls softly on years of rain
Moisture that knows a shower of pain
You in my eye and sorrow's play
all wrapped in this curtain of tears
I bow to the audience to find you again

I linger in the love you once had for me
The laughs spent on branches of trees
as kids eating from the apple's red wine
kissing a sky that will always be
a blessing where song sang for me.

A softly eloquent poem, beautiful in the mind when read and appreciated slowly and leisurely.

Probably different to some of the poems i have read of yours. An uneasy, yet purposeful rhyme flows through this piece, giving the poem a simple tone and a delicate touch.

The years pass, the memories linger, the tears still fall......and never really go away. They just hide within the depths for another rainy day.

Very nice writing, Alfred. Well Done.

A poignant and reflective write....filled with memories and so very emotive. The years do not dim the memories....and the tears still fall. So lovely. Lydi**

My mind must go into poetic transformation I hear it trying to rhyme in the background shortly after I write several pieces.

Thanks Jacob!
