Hiding in My Son

Hiding in My Son

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

living in shadow among all this light

"

Hiding in My Sun

A hard look at my curse
My trumpet gone in someone's purse
I heard you play a hard note blue
It wiggled in my soul like I knew you
After a trumpet's rift
cascading all over my face
You pursed your lips
I couldn't find a trace
My curse somehow hiding in my sun
a shadow somewhere lost
in a playing field of one.

At that wiggle moment it felt revaltory. I had no misgivings about its placement or any notion of changing it. Those moments feel like cerebral divineness.

The Abstract Waltz is iluminating causing a little blindness. Outstanding poetry!

Al

Hi Pryde!

You mean hiding? Usually the writing program informs me of typos. I'm not a good typist; however, when writing some words come out of no where that I would rarely use in everyday speak. Thanks for your visit!

Regards,
Al

My curse somehow hiding in my sun
a shadow somewhere lost
in a playing field of one.

Jousting with windmills and racing with shadows. Fine piece of work:) Wonder if the title is a typo:)

i like the smooth way you inserted the rhyme here...

"it wiggled in my soul like i knew you"....yes, that song sung blue...everybody knows one...as neil diamond expressed...we all have our blue...but we all have our clouds too, and they hide that blue or mask it.

nicely done, Al.
