Holy Smoke

I come to haunt
Carry you in a rainstorm of discovery
Bend you into the will of poet warrior
So that the hinges of your soul
Will opens doors into the Neverland of beauty

Dare I say the task looms large
Fear, trembling, possible screams of yesteryear
Will tumble down into the caverns of your eyes
Come at will, your own will
Let us embark on the fleeting beauty of diction.

The idea of souls having hinged doors is a great concept. The muse knows the secret knock on that door and just how to open it. Ahhh....the beauty of diction and wondrous vocabulary....yes, that is holy in its own special sort of way. Wonderful poetry, Alfred. Lydi**

you're most welcome, my friend :)

best,
steph
poetry at its finest twists hearts to release its longings and pour it out into words - the pain, the silence bottled up, screaming on your face, an invitation to embark on a journey of introspection and self-discovery

steph

the journey with the muse...and she comes to you, wondering...is he ready? can he turn the screams of yesteryear into poems?

love the "fleeting beauty of diction"

wonderful line....

and we always hope we can open the doors and let the words out.....and we hope they are waiting behind that door.
