A Spring Picnic

A Spring Picnic

warmth, sunshine, youth in old age, did i tell you silence fills the air.........

A Spring Picnic

I’m laying in my words

the comfort of an M or S

tickling my innards.

softly I float in alphabetic transcendence

eating vowels, licking a bowl of Q’s

wondering in the soup of LOVE

tender vittles among the trees

sky well past the morning light

a picnic of sorts in the garden of poetry.

Kid like, a divine tickle, crosses over the sunshine of my own excitement. Spring fills my blood!

Thanks Jacob!

The deck is open, canopy secured, waiting for leaves to rise, daffodils tell me the season is here!

Thanks Sami!

words are the best food...and they never really make you sick...sad sometimes, angry sometimes, happy sometimes...

and sometimes full...in different ways.

but they do tickle the innards...and they aren't harmful like cigarettes...

we rarely overdose on them...

and as we grow older we appreciate them even more.

This is our kindly of garden where words bloom from the roots of the soul in many seasons. Where sharing the beauty of the heavens, nature, people and places travel the lines and airwaves of the imaginations. An excellent write indeed with a touch of humor. Your garden blooms in any season....:))))
